Originally from Albuquerque New Mexico, Jody Price is an instrumental guitarist whose work is influenced by the likes of Leo Kottke, John Renbourn, George Harrison, Ralph Towner, Patty Larkin, Kaki King, Peter Biederman, and a whole lot more. His music. a mix of finger style guitar, English folk, and avant-garde jazz, works to create an atmosphere that encourages his audience to listen and enjoy.  

 

Jody comes from a long line of artists including his father, the renowned poet, V.B Price, his grandmother, the Broadway actress Edith Barrett, and his grandfather, the horror movie icon, Vincent Price. Jody was also featured the Simpsons episode “Sunday, Cruddy Sunday”.

After growing up between New Mexico and New Jersey, Jody and his wife Amy, along with their cats reside in Santa Fe, New Mexico
